从高山流水到荒漠良田，扎根千年的本草守护者人世间的健康和幸福。《本草中国》这部纪录片谱绘了人与草木相互依存、相互抚慰的生命图景，既讲自然之中的草药，也讲人世之中的药师，雅致脱俗而又有烟火气息。9月14日9点，2019级预防一班的同学相聚于浩园，围桌而坐，分享着彼此对《本草中国》的感想。
首先，大家都提到《本草中国》是一部制作精良的纪录片，配乐能恰当的调动情绪，大量微观镜头与航拍镜头配合使用，使画面细腻而空灵，解说词和结束语优秀精致，就连每一篇章的名字也美不可言：境界，时间，双面，相遇，年华，根脉，沉浮，有情……同学们表示看这样的纪录片很容易沉浸其中。
在《本草中国》九集中，同学们感触最深的是《时间》这一集。世间万物皆有其时，同一种药材在不同的时节、不同的时辰采摘，药效大为不同。《时间》从“快、慢、准、长、新旧交替”几个维度讲述了红花、藏红花、红曲、霜桑叶、天麻、陈皮，这六味药在采摘、贮藏、炮制过程中与时间的精妙配合，展现时间赋予生命的不同的涵义。时间对草木生命而言是一种沉淀和孕育，对人而言也是如此，在生活节奏越来越快的今天，很多人都在与时间赛跑，但是守时间是比赶时间更高的境界，世间万物顺乎天理，转折与蜕变如期而至，容不得一点偏差，正如等待药材的成熟，这就是岁月的神奇之处。守得住时间才能耐得住寂寞，现代人们的注意力和耐心在慢慢消磨，愿意学习这门手艺的人越来越少，古木肆意被伐，许多珍贵药材即将灭绝，传统工艺制作中药正逐渐被机器化生产取代，费时费力中药古法正在慢慢失传……传统中药学面临着后继无人的困境，但是传统技艺中所蕴含的精益求精、一丝不苟的品质不应遗弃，许多同学表示愿意尽己所能让更多的人了解这些中药知识，让传统文化重新焕发它的光芒。这也是我们观看《本草中国》的意义之一。
除了《时间》，同学们也提到了其他章节。《双面》和《相遇》中可以领略中药之美，她认为本草温润大度至极，芡实山药食用兼药用，附子去毒可解毒，血竭活血又止血，同一种植物有万千变幻，药食同源、生熟异治，总有一种形态是可以造福百姓，天地之厚爱与大美藏于一草一木。天涯海角素未谋面药材碰撞，有了单行相须相使相畏相杀相恶相反这七情，自然界的联系丝丝入扣……这些是很美妙的事。《境界》这一集中独具匠心的导演把本草的境界向中药人的境界做了一个非常切合的引申:中药有境界，人亦有境界。中药人用平凡铸就非凡，天人合一至臻至善，草木有灵，人间有情，相逢则境界生。
看完这部纪录片，很多同学被中药人的坚守、传承所打动。绝壁上、库布齐沙漠里、破旧的弄堂中，他们身处恶劣偏僻的环境，与本草同在，箪食瓢饮而不改其乐。他们之中有接过父辈衣钵的年轻人，有身体力行教授徒弟的耄耋老人。作为一名医学生，我们都应当学习中药人的精神，为自己所热爱的事业鞠躬尽瘁、矢志不渝。
感动之外，同学们也进行了批判性思考，提出了对中药现状的反思和建议。我们要对自然要心存敬畏，适当的取用，不要毫无节制的索取；要建立文化自信，敢于推销优秀的中药产品；要提高中药人的收入，不要让手艺人处于社会边缘的窘境；要将中药与现代相结合，古法虽好也可适当改进，比如一寸白芍可以切成360片，是借助机器完成的；要加强中药的审核把控，正是因为有一些假冒的、粗制滥造的药材被使用，使中药效果大打折扣。中药如果想真正让世界接受，在种植、加工、炮制等环节都应该制定合理的标准；要多开发新的中药形式，可给那些没有特别多时间熬药的人们提供多一种选择。

First of all, everyone mentioned “The tale of Chinese medicine” is a well made documentary. The music and picture are exquisite and ethereal. Even the name of each chapter is beatiful. Students said it's easy to get lost in a documentary like this.
In the nine episodes of "The tale of Chinese medicine", “Time”is the most impressive episode. All things in the world have a time. The same medicine in different seasons or different times to pick have greatly different effects. Time for vegetation life is a kind of precipitation, for people, too. Today, many people are in a race against time, but keep time is higher than catch up time. Fewer and fewer people are willing to learn this craft. Traditional Chinese medicine is facing the dilemma of no successor, but the quality of excellence and meticulousness in the traditional skills should not be abandoned. Many students expressed their willingness to do their best to let the traditional culture shine its light again. This is also one of the meanings of watching "The tale of Chinese medicine".
In addition to “Time”, students also mentioned other chapters. "Double" and "Meet" can appreciate the beauty of traditional Chinese medicine. The same kind of plants have myriad changes.There is always a kind of form being able to benefit the people. In the “realm”, TCM has a realm, and human beings also have a realm.
After watching this documentary, many students were touched by the persistence and inheritance of TCM practitioners. They are in the remote or bad environment. Among them are young people who have taken over the mantle of their fathers and old people who have taught their apprentices. As a medical student, we should all learn the spirit of Chinese medicine people and devote ourselves to the cause we love.
Besides being moved, the students also thought critically and put forward their reflections and Suggestions on the current situation of Traditional Chinese medicine. We should be in awe of the nature, appropriate use, not unlimited demand; To establish cultural confidence and dare to sell excellent Chinese medicine products; To improve the income of traditional Chinese medicine people; If Traditional Chinese medicine wants to be accepted by the world, reasonable standards should be set in planting, processing and other links. To develop new forms of traditional Chinese medicine.
